DIC Kulgam Organizes Awareness Programme Under RAMP at AMGDC Kilam

Kulgam, March 28, 2026: The District Industries Centre (DIC) Kulgam on Saturday organized an awareness creation-cum-outreach programme under the RAMP (Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance) initiative at Altaf Memorial Government Degree College Kilam.
The programme witnessed the participation of officers from various line departments including BDO, KVIB, Handicrafts and Handloom, NRLM, CSC centres, Cooperatives Department, and Industrial Promotion Officers. Outgoing students of AMGDC Kilam also attended the event.
Over 100 beneficiaries from different departments participated in the programme, reflecting strong public interest in entrepreneurship and industrial development initiatives.
During the inaugural session, participants and stakeholders were sensitized about the importance and growing relevance of Udyam Registration in boosting business and industrial establishments. Officials highlighted how collaboration with the government and its flagship schemes can help entrepreneurs scale their ventures to new heights.
The process flow and benefits of Udyam Registration were elaborated through a detailed PowerPoint presentation by the Industrial Promotion Officers of DIC Kulgam, providing practical guidance to aspiring entrepreneurs.
On the occasion, incharge Principal of AMGDC Kilam Shabir Ahmad encouraged students to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset and explore self-employment opportunities, stressing the importance of job creation and innovation in today’s economy.
