Kulgam, Apr 17: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Shahzad Alam (IAS), on Friday assured residents that there is no shortage of cooking gas in the district, stating that sufficient LPG cylinders are available to meet daily demand.
He informed that around 1,500 LPG cylinders are available each day, out of which nearly 1,000 are being supplied to consumers regularly.
The administration is closely monitoring the supply to ensure uninterrupted availability, he added.
Urging consumers to stay updated, the DC advised people to complete their e-KYC at nearby CSC centres or ration depots in their villages to ensure timely receipt of OTPs and avoid delays in availing services.
He reiterated that the administration remains committed to maintaining smooth supply and addressing public concerns promptly.
