Retired Police ASI Killed in Hit-and-Run at Magam; Auto Driver Injured

Srinagar, Mar 25: A retired police Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) was killed in a road accident after being hit by an unidentified auto at Daripora Adina near Badran stop in Magam area on Tuesday late night.
The deceased has been identified as Gh Mohammad War, son of Gh Ahmad, a resident of Adina, Budgam, officials told news agency Kashmir News Corner --- KNC.
Thet said that the accident resulted in his on-the-spot death, while the auto driver, whose identity is yet to be ascertained, also sustained injuries and was shifted to JVC Hospital for treatment.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident, and further investigation initiated. (KNC)
